He is survived by: his wife Donna (McAnany); his children, Monica Short, Renee Koeneman (Brian), Jeanne Besselman (Jason) and Patrick Short; his grandchildren, Tylan Cathey and Dawson Besselman; his sister Marlene Huffman-Hurt (Irv); and also Marine Corps League. He is also survived by brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws.
