He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia C. Schillinger; and his brothers, Harry and Robert Schillinger. He is survived by: his children, Karen Koester (Roy) and Dan Schillinger (Joy); his grandchildren, Danielle Johnson (Brantley) and Sam Schillinger (Harper); his great grandchild Scarlett Johnson; and his sister Carolyn Potter. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren and great granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a veteran organization of your choice.
