She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wong and Florence Wong; her husband Claude Choo-Kang; her granddaughter Cristal; and her sisters, Thelma Sam and Norma Buehler.
She is survived by: her children, Curt Choo-Kang (Cathy), Jasmin Chan (Keith Nash), Sue Tsoi (Mark) and Lee Choo-Kang (Leona); her grandchildren, Candice Choo-Kang (Saul Jaffe), Sasha Chan, Eric Tsoi, Gabby Choo-Kang and Danny Choo-Kang; her great grandchildren, Gabe and Scarlett Nell; and her siblings, Yvonne Gater, Olyve Schuler, Claudette Hessberger and Clifford Wong.
If desired, contributions may be made to Operation Christmas Child (Samaritan's Purse) or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Irene.
