He was predeceased by: his son Kevin Gordon; and his siblings, Monte Gordon and Mary Allen. He is survived by: his spouse Chris Gordon; his children, Dan Vernon (Susan), Scott Gordon (Chelsea), Ashley Ploesser (Leroy) and Jim Vernon; his grandchildren, Kevin Jr., Tyler, Alex, Annie, Allison, Ella, Riley, Avery, Savannah, James and George; and his sibling Beverly Fetherling.
