She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hans Okon and Maria Okon; her sister Adelaide; her husband Roy; and her children, Wayne Thulin, Judy Kent and Nancee Dahms-Stinson. She was also cherished by her three children, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
