He was predeceased by: his children, Mickey Cox and Mark Ballew; and his brother James Harper Cox. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Cox; his daughters, Sherry Marti (Bernie), Teresa Westmoreland (Wes), Janice Cox (Mark Meeks) and Judy Ballew; his grandchildren, Brad Marti, Brenton Marti (Lacey), Melissa Young, Jeremy Floden (Lisa Paul), Scott Gruswitz, Brett Gruswitz and Rhett Ervin; his great grandchildren, Mcartney Young, Glenn Floden, Kyla Paul, Kaelyn Marti, Everett Marti and Charlotte Marti; and his sibling Elmo Jack Cox.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Stroke Foundation or Stray Rescue of St. Louis.
