He was predeceased by: his spouse LaVerne A. Burgstead; his son Steven L. Burgstead; and his brother Forrest Borgstedt. He is survived by: his son Donald E. Burgstead (Anne Jansen); his grandchildren, Ross Burgstead (Emily) and Gail Goslee (Tony); his great grandchildren, James, Paige, Nora and Hank; his daughter-in-law Dorothy Burgstead; and his sister Catherine Borgstedt.
