He was predeceased by: his parents, Merna Lazier (MacBride) and Charles E. Lazier, Sr.; his wife Nancy Sturhahn Lazier; and his sister Merna Lazier Mineman (Bertram). He is survived by: his daughter Doris "Dee" Lafata (James); his grandchildren, Philip Lafata (Lindsay) and Meredith Lafata; his great grandchildren, Meru, Samuel and Marie; and his niece Melanie Mineman White (Steve).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital of St. Louis.
