He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Faith Elizabeth; his parents, Genevieve Mason and Bill Mason; his siblings, Brian and Tracy; his close friend Tina Godbey; his uncle Dave Koch; and his nieces and nephews, James, Jacob Shackleford and Lindsay Witt.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Wounded Warrior Project.
