It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arville Raymond Mertz (Ballwin, Missouri), who passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Alene J. Mertz; his siblings, Rosemary "Rosie" Almstedt (late Robert) and David Mertz, Sr.; and his brothers-in-law, William Litzsinger (Sue) and Raymond Litzsinger.

He is survived by: his son Paul Mertz; his grandsons, Ray Mertz (Krista) and Jim Mertz; and his great grandchildren, Iris and Isaac.
