He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elizabeth Venn; his children, Richard Venn (Chunyu), Alison Sanford (David), Leslie Walker (Carlin) and Matthew Venn (Carmen Ledbetter); his grandchildren, Laura Venn (Brian Westerhold), Katherine Sanford, Michael Venn, Melissa Taylor (Zachary), Ashley Rhoades, Peter Sanford, Kyle Walker, Christopher Venn and Brianna Walker; and his siblings, David Venn (Jeanne) and Doris VanRonzelen (William).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice.
