He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard H. Davidson and Dolores F. Davidson; his son Little Richard Davidson; his brother Ernie Davidson; and his nephew Tommy DenHartog.

He is survived by: his daughter Ruth Ann; and his siblings, Maureen "Moe" Miles (Michael), Joan "Joannie" DenHartog (Jay) and John Davidson (Debbie). He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
