He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joe Bill Bales and Hazel Marie Mullins Bales; his wife Carol Bales; his daughters, Jody Bales Bond (Michael) and Tracy Bales Collins (Jason); his grandchildren, Garry Bond (Lindsey) and Tiffany Driver (Josh); his great grandchildren, Maggie Bond, Chloie Bond and Colton Bond; his siblings, Patsy Bales Cotter (PeeWee) and Rick Bales (Beverly); his mother-in-law Mary Durham; his brother-in-law Darrell Durham; his aunts, Della Foster, Carol Schaufler (Jim) and Phyllis Arnold (Joe); his grandparents, Oscar, Dora Mullins, Charlie Bales and Pearl Ward; his father-in-law Lester Durham; and his brother Joe M. Bales (Buddy). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
