It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Annette Clayton of Ava, Missouri, born in Squires, Missouri, who passed away on June 9, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Turner and Mary Turner (Spurlock); her son Bobby; and her siblings, Donald Turner, James Edward Turner and Mary Lou Hodges.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Lee (Thelma Clayton), Douglas James (Michele Clayton) and Vicki Elaine Nelson; her grandchildren, James Nelson, Ashley Yost, Brandon Nelson, Cody Clayton and Austin Clayton; and her sisters, Charlene Tellor, Josey Adamson and Sandra Clopper. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
