He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond Ross and Grace Lorraine Irby (Hicks); his daughter Rayna (Kyle Stillings); his siblings, Janice, Patsy, Richard Dale and Gary Wayne; his wife Leslie; his daughter Rachel Irby; his grandchildren, Kaelyn, Devlin and Case Murphy; his siblings, Carolyn (Darrell Hutchison), Fred (Christina Hicks), Yvonne (Steve Willis), Debbie (Kenny Clouse) and Brenda (Jim Liniger); and also Ross Irby. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Children's Miracle Network.
