She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Hood and Ila Pearl Ballance (McDonald); her former husband J. T. Williams; her daughter Melody Gordon; her siblings, Hazel Campbell and Raymond Balance; her former husband Elmer Daniels; her son-in-law Ronald Daniels; and her grandson Michael Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Ernest Williams, Samuel and Angie Williams; and her sister Janet Gayton of Chocowinity, NC. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren.
