She was predeceased by: her parents, George Edward and Carrie Anna Mae Friend (Shockey); her husband Athel; and her siblings, Everett, Jess Friend and Georgia Bishop.
She is survived by: her friend Jackson; her cousins, Ada, Elma, Wanda and Lucille; her daughter Linda (Terry Howerton) of Ava, MO; her grandchildren, Lydia (Michael Jahrling) and Montana (Kuyla Howerton) of Ava, MO; her great grandchildren, Lilyana Jahrling, Zannah Shields and Jimmy Athel Howerton; and her sisters, Eva (Noel Scott) of Oldfield, Margaret Wright of Nixa, MO, Kathy Curtis of Ava, MO and Dorothy (David Crosby) of Ava, MO. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
