He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Irby and Judith Hill; and his siblings, Keith Hill and Debbie Hill. He is survived by: his siblings, Teddy Hill of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Susan Hill of East Prairie, Missouri and Cheryl Dickson of East Prairie, Missouri; and his former wives, Brenda Ray and Candice Caery. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
