It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Olga McNew of Ava, Missouri, born in Hillsboro, Illinois, who passed away on August 1, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Larry; her children, Rebecca Beard and Larry Lee McNew, Jr.; and her brother Dale Eliason. She is survived by: her son Jim McNew (Melissa); her grandchildren, Dezerah, Jake Gilleland, Dr. William Jarad Raney, Brandon McNew, Morgan McNew (Chase) and Meagan McNew of Katie McNew, J. T; her great grandchild Willow Gilleland; her children-in-law, Jack Beard and Lisa McNew; her close friend Martha Shumate; and also, Mike and Tammy. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
