He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Conness and Vivian Faye Evans (Watterson); and his brother Rodney Evans. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his daughters, Christy (Randy Reichard) and Sarah (Nick Wehner); his grandchildren, Evan Reichard, Ella Reichard, Grayson Wehner and Maddox Wehner; and his sister Karen Ghramm. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
