With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Richard Mergendahl Sr. of Ava, Missouri, born in Saugerties, New York, who passed away on July 26, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry and Blanche Katherine Mergendahl (Washburn); his wife Lesalie; and his siblings, James and Blanchette Kellerhouse.
He is survived by: his children, John (Amber Mergendahl, Jr.), Bonnie (Bob Kuhn) and Wanda Mergendahl (Jacquelyn Autry); and his brother Billy Mergendahl. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
