We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2025, at the age of 76, John Garland Nichols of Ava, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Nichols and Ima Faye Nichols (Brooks); his sons, Jason and Shawn; and his sister Pearl.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca; his children, Nicole (James Markle), Ashley (Ryan Breshears) and Jacob Nichols (Jasmyn McGinnis) of Champion, Missouri; his grandchildren, Hayden, Jason, Ryker and Adeline; and his father-in-law Paul Huffaker.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home (407 N Mansfield Rd, Ava, MO 65608). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
