She was predeceased by: her parents, Oakey Johnson, Jr. and Thelma Louise Carder (Barron); and her brother John "Buzz" Roger Carder. She is survived by: her daughter Mende; her son-in-law Jim Thorn; and her grandsons, Zachary (Lindsey), Alexander and Benjamin (D'juliet). She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center in Ava, Missouri in Janet's memory.
