James Groover Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 30, 2024, at the age of 83, James Groover of Ava, Missouri, born in Lebanon, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Winford Groover and Mary Groover (Edens); and his brother John Groover. He is survived by: his son Ronald Scott (Brenda Groover); his wife Barbara Groover; his children, Jim (Chris Nichols) and Jean Ann Nichols; his grandchildren, Justin (Anna Groover), Danielle (Brad Hoffman), Samantha (Andrew Barth), Jessica Smith, Corinne (Jay Miller), Meila Nichols, Rowan Nichols, Barrett Nichols, Aaron Schuerger, Aly Faught and April Schuerger; and his great grandchildren, Everett, Temperance, Wyatt, Mason, McKenna, Ethan, Mira, Hudson, Everly, Charlotte, Clara, Avelyn, Cade and Henry. He is also survived by other extended family and many friends.
