She was predeceased by: her parents, David Jones Detherage and Myrtle Maggie Morris; her siblings, Lonzo Detherage, Ray Detherage, Hazel Roy and Elva Dixon (Eugene Pierson); and her granddaughter Lindsay Rhea Stout.

She is survived by: her spouse Milford Eugene Pierson; her children, Larry Pierson (Harriett) of Ava, MO, Murlin Pierson (Marjorie) of Mansfield, MO, Norman Pierson (Audrey) of Squires, MO, David Pierson, Wayne Pierson (Dixie) of Mansfield, MO, Brenda Casady (John) of Onawa, IA and Randy Pierson (Katherine) of Ava, MO; and her niece Vera Dixon of Ava, MO. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, and more than a host of relatives, friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to the Dyer Cemetery.
