Fern Huffman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 20, 2021, at the age of 93, Fern Huffman (Ava, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Walker and Emma Walker (Day); her husband Herbert Lee; and her siblings, Donald Walker, James Doyle Walker and Doris McCarty.
She is survived by: her brother Dwight Walker (Jeannie) of Mountain Home, Arkansas; her nephew Nelson McCarty of Santa Fe; her nieces, Erin Ulm (Carl) of West Plains, Missouri, Kathy Martin (David) of Fordland, Missouri, Linda Moore of Mansfield, Missouri and Sharman Bennett (Andy) of Springfield, Missouri.; her pet Maggie; and her children, Katy, Linda, Donna and Sandra. She is also survived by great-great nieces, nephews, cousins.
Fern lived independently in her home until Christmas Eve of 2020, when she contracted Covid.
For anyone caring to make a memorial contribution to Fern's life, a consideration might be either St. Jude's or the American Cancer Society.
