He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Haney and Inez Haney (Helms); and his siblings, Eloise Day, Helen Gallegos and Clifford Haney.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Comfert (Haney), Megan (Haney), Durazo (Nick), Melissa (Haney) and Simeon (Scott); his grandchildren, Hannah Comfert (Cody Martin) and Grant Kromer; his great grandchild Rhett Lee Martin; and his siblings, Ben Haney (Vivian), Jeannie Flippin and Jo Ann Williams (David). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
