As Douglas Anthony departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Douglas Anthony may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Douglas Anthony leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward McLaughlin and Nellie McLaughlin (Cahill); and his wife Elda. He is survived by: his granddaughter Brenna Stepp; and his friends, Dalene Robertson and Carla Dobbs.

A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Ava Cemetery.
