It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Ann Smith of Ava, Missouri, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on September 29, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Clarence Wesley and Cora Elizabeth Duffer (Whitley). She is survived by: her sons, David Dain (Cathy Smith) of Springfield, MO and Daniel Keith (Turmelovea Smith) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.; and her grandchildren, Jessica Bennett, Joshua Smith, Danielle Deatherage and Lain Smith.
