She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Murphy and Faye Murphy (Gardner); her son Gerald; her husband Russ; her niece Tracy Murphy; and her nephew-in-law Leslie Stillings.
She is survived by: her friend Phyllis Swofford; her nephew Mike Walker (Cheryl); her friends, Corrine and Jerry Ellison; her granddaughters, Heather Walker of Bentonville and Faunlee Smith (Scott) of Ava; her great grandchildren, Alden Smith (Courtney), Morgan Smith (Emily) and Parker Smith; her great great grandchildren, Lyle and Charlie; her brother Max Murphy (Wanda); her daughter-in-law Sandy Walker of Ava; and her sisters-in-law, Peggy Walker of Nashville and Beth Walker of Kansas City, Missouri. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many friends and family.
Family requests donations in lieu of flowers to the Souder Cemetery or to Lilly Ridge Cemetery.
