He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiebe Caterina and Hendrika Caterina (DeJong) of Haan; his wife Dodie King; his son Larry of Haan; and his sister Jeltje Nelson.
He is survived by: his children, Connie (John Macak), Rick (Nicole) and Karen (Steve Clevenger); and his siblings, Andres of Haan and Elizabeth Parker. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandson.
