He is survived by: his wife Melody; his children, Cindy Bene, Dennis (Fran), Erin Boergert (Scott), Heather Roy, Edward and Sammy; and his siblings, Gary Roy (Amy) and Shelia Miller of Ohio. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, one great grandchild.
