He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Denney and Veta Jo McCully (Smith); his stepfather Leroy McCully; his sister Penny Cash; his father-in-law George Young; his grandson Dylan Owens; and his niece Samantha Williams.

He is survived by: his daughters, Alisha (Nick Heinrichs) and Tabbitha; his wife Robyn Denney; his daughters, Tabby (Tyler Hogan) and Emily Denney (Aaron Scislowicz); his siblings, David Denney (Nancy), Mark Cash (Myra), Steve Finkemeier (Lisa), Marlene Johnson (Scott) and Cheryl Rose (Charles); his grandchildren, Rylee, Mayson, Presley, Wylder, Olivia and Baby Mavrick; his mother-in-law Janice Young; and his brother-in-law Dr. Timothy Young (Shannon).

Memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
