He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mildred Thelma Graves (Delp) and Euel Thomas Graves; his wife Anna Jo; his children, Charla Jo Shull, Wade Graves (Cheri) and Bryan Graves (Susie); his stepchildren, Amanda Sizemore, Molly Smugala, Todd Monks and Trent Monks; and his siblings, James Graves (Maxine), Carol Breid and John Graves (Jeanette). He was also cherished by relatives, neighbors, co-workers, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Thornfield Cemetery, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or Donor's Choice.
