It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Pond of Ava, Missouri, who passed away on October 3, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edley Pond and Velvia Pond (Price); his former wife Nancy Pond; his son Michael Dale Pond; and his siblings, Bobby Pond, Peggy Halberstadt, Clydia McCina and Carolee Nicholas.
He is survived by: his wife Retha Joan Pond (Pellham) of Ava, MO; his son Ronald Pond of Seymour, MO; his stepdaughter Robin Wilson (Jim) of Theodosia, MO; and his brothers, Carlos Pond of Illinois, Gerald Pond (Karen) of Illinois, Lyndle Pond (Joyce) of Illinois and Jim Pond (Valerie) of North Carolina. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
