He was predeceased by: his parents, Verna James and Argie Sievert (Henley); his wife Ruby; his son Charlie; and his sister Judy Looney.

He is survived by: his siblings, Clifford (Beverly Sievert) of Willard, MO, Corene (Troy Hicks), Maxine (James Graves), Jessie High of Camdenton, MO, June (Carl Huff), Vivian (Larry Haynes) and Lola (Eddie Mayberry). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and many other friends and relatives.

Memorials may be made to Oak Grove Cemetery or Gideon's.
