He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd McCleary and Mary McCleary (Brazeal); his former wife Shirley Ann Churchill; his brothers, Billy Carl McCleary and Gary Lynn McCleary; and his stepson Kraig Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Carol Johnson of Mansfield, Allen McCleary (Joyce) of Mansfield, Billie Gail McCleary of Drury, Barbara Williams (Charles) of Mansfield and Jackie McCleary (Dusti) of Lebanon; his stepson Kevan Davis of Ava; his sister Sue Pickney (Clay) of Springfield; his sister-in-law Linda McCleary of Nixa; and his grandchildren, Robert, Brian, Christopher, Dustin, Cody, Jason, Travis, Ryan, Shawna, Aimee, Bailey and Macy. He is also survived by twenty-five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
