He was predeceased by: his parents, William B. Mills and Geraldine Mills (Johns); and his brothers, Jerry and John Mills. He is survived by: his wife Carla; his son Jason Mills; his brother Jim (Shawna Mills); his parents-in-law, Jim and Virginia Thurman; and his brother-in-law Roger (Teresa Thurman). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
