It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Augustus Hampton (Ava, Missouri), who passed away on January 25, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy Hampton and Cloah Hampton (Brake); his wife Linda; his siblings, Earnest, Eldon "Bud" Hampton and Goldie Swearengin; and his great grandchildren, Aaron Garnet and Selah Rose.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Hampton (Gary Harmon) of Ava; his grandson Charley (Amanda Hampton); his great grandchildren, Gracie Gray, Matthew Hampton and Augustus Hampton; and his brothers, Lee, John and Roy Hampton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
