He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmon Cody Smithee and Elizabeth Smithee (Lee); and his brothers, David, Clint and Dale Smithee.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Smithee (Kahmke); his daughters, Heather Brown (Dale) of Auxvasse and Ashley McGlynn (Jason) of The Woodlands, TX.; his siblings, Kenny Smithee (Dawn) of Everton, AR, Ronnie Smithee (Phyllis) of Auxvasse, Betty Knipp (Donal) of Auxvasse and Molly Shellabarger (Wayne) of Mexico; and his grandchildren, Abigail, Dale Alan, Olivia, Johnathan Brown, Ronan and Harper McGlynn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Maupin Funeral Home to be used for the new Auxvasse Community Center, c/o Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas Boulevard, Fulton, MO 65251.
