She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Payne and Ruth Payne (Griffith); her grandsons, Brandon Guilfoyle-Pace and Nicholas Brey; and her siblings, Bobby Payne, Donald Payne, Joyce Marsh, Jody Mons and Patsy Sue Short.
She is survived by: her husband Doyle L. Closser; and her children, Stephen Pace (Sue) of Columbia, Brandon Pace (Carrie) of Ashland, Ron Pace (Jan) of Auxvasse, Pete Pace (Vicky) of Gardner, KS, Melissa Closser of Columbia and Tim Closser (Kim) of Jefferson City. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
