He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Mirts and May Mirts (Smith); and his siblings, Edith Brandis and Ray Mirts. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Robison; his children, Carolyn Johnson (Leo) of Columbia, Roberta Ballance (Mark) of Albuquerque, NM and James Mirts (Cindy) of Auxvasse; and his sister-in-law Hattie Hatley of Memphis, TN. He is also survived by five step-grandchildren; 13 step-great-grandchildren.
