It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Treva Skinner of Aurora, Missouri, who passed away on July 31, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Hartin and Hazel Elkins Hartin; her husband Richard; and her brother Raymond Hartin. She is survived by: her children, Billy Vanderpool of Diamond, MO., Mark Shreffler (Shirley) of Aurora, MO., Kathy Mullens (Tim) of Springfield, MO., Bunnie Lorenzo (Ray) of Nixa, MO., Sandy Williams of Aurora, MO., Tami Shreffler of Aurora, MO. and Shawn Atwood (Brian) of Aurora, MO.; and her siblings, Howard Hartin of Aurora, MO. and Norma Amos of Aurora, MO.. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.

“Dear Shawn, Mark, & all, So sad to get our Christmas card today, Jan. 13th, with "Deceased, return to sender". I visited Ilene in her home last Spring although I cannot recall exactly when. The couple that bought her home told me, today, that she had died in July. We are so disappointed to not know, as we have been friends since 1979. We praise God that she has been called home, to be with our Lord, Richard, and others. Thanks for letting her stay at home for as long as you could.”
