It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Alan Handshy (Aurora, Missouri), born in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, who passed away on January 1, 2022, at the age of 34. Our beloved son. We miss your beautiful smile and the warm hugs you gave to us all. Your presence had a calming effect and your patience with people spoke volumes. You had a kind, loving, and compassionate way about you. You didn't talk about your problems but were there for others who were struggling or down on their luck. You were so willing to help anyone who needed it.
Although our hearts are broken because we lost you, we know you are in a much better place now. You were a living example of God's love. We know you loved him and remember how you willingly told and taught others about him. You were a gentle loving spirit and you are in the presence of pure love now. We take comfort in knowing that your fight is over. You will never be in pain again. No more sickness, no more struggling. You are free now! You will always be loved and cherished by your family, and close friends. You will certainly never be forgotten.
