He is survived by: his parents, Robert James Barnes of Aurora, Missouri and Becky Jane Matthews (Lester); his wife Mitzie Dawn Herndon; his daughters, Kallie Dawn Barnes of Eagle Rock, Kacie Jaymes Barnes of Aurora, Missouri and Janie Belle Barnes of Aurora, Missouri; his stepfather Ted Matthews of Cassville, Missouri; his brother Brendon Barnes of Neosho, Missouri; his half-sister Mandy Barnes of Aurora, Missouri; and his mother-in-law Belinda Herndon of Billings. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to the Shannon Barnes Memorial at First Independent Bank in Aurora and Freedom Bank of Southern Missouri.
