He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Garoutte and Maxine Garoutte (Seitz); his siblings, Betty and Robert; his brother-in-law Lewis Custer; and his nephew Steve Custer.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ann Walker; his sons, Michael (Amy) and Jason (Brandy); his grandchildren, Michael (Shay), Jaccob (Courtney) and Emily Ernest; his great grandchild Korbyn; his siblings, Glenn (Jeannie) and Darlene Custer; and his sister-in-law Sue Garoutte.
