He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Shockley and Ina Mae Shockley (Rogers); and his stepsister Cindy. He is survived by: his brother Monte Shockley; his stepbrother Jack; his daughter Lisa Shockley; his sisters, Janice Jenkins and Deidra Manintveld; his stepsisters, Karen and Kozeta; and his grandchildren, Cassidy, Nick and Kayleigh.
