He is survived by: his children, Kenny Whitmore, Missy Whitmore of Springfield and Tonya Miller (Jay) of Springfield, Illinois; and his brothers, Larry Whitmore of Halltown and Wayne Whitmore (Terrica) of Purdy, Missouri.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
