He was predeceased by: his parents, Scott Reed and Esther Reed; his sister Alice Stapleton (Ed); his son Gregory Lee Reed; and his granddaughter Melissa Lea Benna.
He is survived by: his child Gegory Lee; his wife Mary Lou; and his children, Connie Lynn Benna (Mike), Steven Lloyd Reed and Laura Lea McClary. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
