He was predeceased by: his parents, Efton Gardner and Sadie Gardner (Hilton); and his wife Lois Wells. He is survived by: his daughter Pamela Hanawalt (Curtis); and his grandson Zakary Hanawalt (Gabrielle) of New Orleans. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to the Good Shepherd Hospice, in care of the funeral home.
